Controls Engineer | Rockford, MI

Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking Controls Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests control systems and software for manufacturing processes.
• Programs PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automated systems.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement new equipment and process improvements.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Conducts root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for control systems.
• Provides technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
