We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support our Business Intelligence and Corporate Analytics team. This role will work at the intersection of business stakeholders, analytics teams, data engineering, and technology resources to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data, reporting, and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, KPI development, and requirements gathering. This individual should be comfortable facilitating discussions with senior business stakeholders and translating reporting, analytics, and data requirements into clear deliverables for technical teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 14-15+ years of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data/BI Analyst, consulting, or related experience.
- Strong experience supporting Business Intelligence, Corporate Analytics, Data Analytics, or data-driven technology initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and relational data models, including data relationships and dependencies.
- Experience gathering requirements for Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, metrics, and visualization solutions.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, data analysis, process analysis, and solution design.
- Ability to identify and document data risks, data quality issues, dependencies, impacts, and business rules.
- Experience creating BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other BA documentation.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
