Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Workday Payroll Consultant with hands-on experience in Workday Payroll configuration, payroll processing, and support. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of payroll operations, Workday HCM, and payroll business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Workday Payroll configuration, implementation, and production support.

• Support payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations and payroll validation.

• Configure and maintain payroll components such as earnings, deductions, and tax settings.

• Assist with payroll calculations, retroactive payroll, and off-cycle payments.

• Support payroll reconciliation and resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Work on employee payroll data, compensation changes, and payroll inputs.

• Assist with payroll testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

• Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and coordinate with senior consultants.

• Support Workday Payroll reports and data validation.

• Work with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Workday HCM / Workday Payroll.

• Hands-on knowledge of Workday Payroll configuration.

• Understanding of payroll concepts such as:

  • Earnings and deductions

  • Gross-to-net calculations

  • Tax calculations and withholding

  • Payroll accounting and reconciliation

  • Retroactive and off-cycle payroll

• Basic knowledge of Workday Business Processes.

• Experience with Workday reporting and EIB is an advantage.

• Good analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
