Job Title: Maximo Techno-Functional Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maximo Techno-Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting IBM Maximo solutions. The role requires a balance of technical expertise and functional knowledge to support enterprise asset management (EAM) projects.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
Configure and customize IBM Maximo modules (Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory, Procurement)
Translate business needs into technical solutions
Develop and maintain Maximo workflows, automation scripts, and integrations
Support system upgrades, patches, and deployments
Provide functional support and troubleshooting for end users
Design and implement integrations with external systems (ERP, SCADA, GIS, etc.)
Prepare functional and technical documentation
Conduct user training and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

Technical Skills

Strong experience in IBM Maximo (7.6 / MAS 8)
Knowledge of Maximo Architecture (MBOs, Business Objects, Database structure)
Experience with:

Automation Scripts (Jython/JavaScript)
Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
Web Services (REST/SOAP)

Hands-on with databases like Oracle / DB2 / SQL Server
Basic understanding of Java and application servers (WebSphere)

Functional Skills

Strong understanding of:

Asset Lifecycle Management
Work Order Management
Preventive Maintenance
Inventory & Procurement

Experience in industries like Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing is a plus
Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively

Experience Required

5+ years of experience in IBM Maximo
At least 1–2 full lifecycle implementations
Experience in support, enhancement, and upgrade projects
