Summary

Description

We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to lead day-to-day execution for our Shopify storefront in Los Angeles, California. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong platform knowledge with excellent project coordination skills to keep site updates, promotions, and merchandising initiatives moving forward smoothly. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver a high-quality online experience, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure launches are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Direct the ecommerce work queue by organizing incoming requests, setting priorities, and keeping timelines on track for web-related initiatives.

Oversee the rollout of promotional campaigns, seasonal releases, landing pages, and other onsite updates to support business goals.

Maintain and publish storefront content within Shopify, including product setup, collection management, and page updates for new launches.

Refine site navigation, merchandising placements, and collection presentation to improve product discovery and customer engagement.

Plan, launch, and evaluate A/B tests aimed at increasing conversion rates and strengthening the user journey.

Collaborate with marketing, creative, operations, and development teams to gather requirements, resolve blockers, and drive projects to completion.

Perform thorough quality checks across desktop and mobile experiences before deployment to confirm site accuracy and functionality.

Monitor storefront performance, investigate bugs or operational issues, and recommend practical solutions to enhance the customer experience.

Support ecommerce operations by reviewing fulfillment-related issues, escalating risks, and helping resolve order or inventory exceptions that affect the site experience.

Manage Jira tickets with minimal oversight, create clear requirements for incoming requests, and maintain momentum across updates, fixes, and optimization efforts.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on ecommerce management experience with a strong emphasis on Shopify.
Deep familiarity with Shopify theme administration, content updates, product setup, and day-to-day storefront maintenance.
Experience using Jira or a similar ticketing system to manage priorities, track progress, and coordinate with technical teams.
Solid understanding of ecommerce operations, merchandising workflows, and onsite best practices for promotions and product launches.
Proven ability to work effectively across departments and communicate clearly with creative, marketing, operations, and development partners.
Working knowledge of A/B testing tools and optimization strategies that improve conversion and overall site performance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and exercise sound judgment.
Familiarity with subscription-based ecommerce programs, ideally including experience with Recharge, is preferred.

Innovation starts with people.
