The OpportunityWe are collaborating with multiple companies in Grand Haven seeking experienced Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Designs and implements electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Develops and maintains electrical schematics, documentation, and safety procedures.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
- Selects and specifies electrical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manages and executes electrical projects from conception through commissioning.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for creating electrical schematics and layouts.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of robotics and automation.
- Experience with vision systems.
