Salary Range: $73,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems into existing manufacturing processes.
• Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to ensure reliability.
• Creates and maintains detailed electrical schematics, drawings, and documentation.
• Ensures all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Evaluates and recommends new electrical technologies and components to improve manufacturing efficiency and performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
• Experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, UL).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics and automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or MATLAB for data analysis and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
