Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hudsonville seeking Electrical Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develops and maintains electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical issues on production lines.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical technologies into existing processes.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Manages and executes electrical upgrade projects, from concept to completion.
• Provides technical support and training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
• Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for automated inspection.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of robotics and automation platforms (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
• Certification in relevant safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA 30).
• Proficiency in programming languages for industrial applications (e.g., Python, C#).
