Salary Range: $72,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components, and systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
• Implement and maintain electrical safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing manufacturing lines.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Specify and procure electrical components and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and safety circuits.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, C++).
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar energy-related certification.
• Experience with vision systems and industrial cameras.
