Senior Financial Systems Analyst
A growing financial services organization is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support the administration, enhancement, and optimization of critical business applications. This role serves as the bridge between business operations and technology, ensuring enterprise systems effectively support organizational goals, user needs, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting financial services applications, administering complex enterprise platforms, and delivering business-focused technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Systems Analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational needs and system requirements.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements, workflow enhancements, and automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, testing plans, and end-user resources.
- Coordinate and execute application testing related to system updates, enhancements, and implementations.
Application Administration
- Manage day-to-day administration of critical enterprise applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Configure user access, security permissions, and application settings.
- Support software upgrades, patch management, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve application reliability, performance, and user experience.
Support & Training
- Provide advanced-level troubleshooting and application support.
- Collaborate with software vendors, implementation partners, and internal technology teams.
- Train users on system functionality, enhancements, and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned business applications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, application administration, or enterprise application support.
- Experience supporting financial services, banking, credit union, fintech, or highly regulated business environments.
- Hands-on experience administering a core banking or financial processing platform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Experience supporting one or more of the following:
- Core banking or financial processing systems
- Account origination platforms
- Digital banking applications
- Card services solutions

Additional Information
This position requires regular onsite collaboration and is 100% onsite in St. Paul, Minnesota. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.
