Job#: 3038217 Job Description: Lead Designer, Basketball Apparel Color Designer
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role supports seasonal direction work by helping to drive compelling new color theories in basketball footwear. The position involves substantial cross-functional collaboration as part of a footwear expression team of approximately ten individuals. The initial project is expected to last for approximately six months, with a possibility for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Support seasonal direction and help drive new color theories for basketball footwear.
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver design projects.
- Translate consumer insights into compelling product stories.
- Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Develop and present design concepts to internal and external audiences.
- Utilize design software to create and refine color and material applications.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience is required in a similar role. A portfolio is required with submission.
Technical Skills:- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficiency with Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom.
- A solid foundation and knowledge of textiles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to various audiences.
- Experience with both footwear and apparel design.
- Ability to excel under tight deadlines and prioritize work effectively.
- A demonstrated passion for sports.
