Job Overview:
Pay Range: $31.48hr - $34.48hr
  • The Communications Specialist will support the Trust Communications team in delivering impactful trust and safety messaging across the country.
  • This role involves managing media relations, handling press inquiries, developing communication materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect and enhance the company s reputation.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in communications or a related field.
  • Experience working with members of the press.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience:
  • Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
  • Experience building and executing communication campaigns.
  • Experience managing media inquiries and press relations.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Trust Communications team with responses to press requests and proactive communication campaigns.
  • Act as a point of contact for journalists regarding trust and safety-related inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities to create and drive news aligned with communication goals.
  • Develop internal and external communication materials including messaging, Q&As, briefings, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide organizational and administrative support to the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including community support, policy, legal, and public affairs.
  • Support initiatives that protect the business and strengthen company reputation.
