Role: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Remote (USA)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) to support a proof-of-concept initiative using NLP and machine learning to improve intake and decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to analyze workflows, drive process improvements, and support Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand current workflows
Analyze gaps and recommend process improvements
Collaborate with technical teams to define and refine solutions
Support development of a new intake/workflow process
Define and track key performance metrics
Engage stakeholders across all levels and drive alignment
Prepare status reports, documentation, and final reports
Coordinate demo sessions and capture feedback
Contribute to roadmap planning and implementation strategy
Support and lead Agile/Scrum activities

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business or related field
10+ years of Business Analyst experience
Strong experience in workflow analysis & process improvement
Experience with enterprise or large-scale systems (COTS preferred)
Knowledge of data-driven or analytics-based projects (NLP/ML is a plus)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in Agile environments
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable solutions
Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Experience with public sector or regulated environments

Exposure to data analytics / AI-driven projects

Experience with case management or intake systems
