This position is for an Information Security Analyst role within a Cybersecurity team. The role focuses on providing business expertise to configure and execute data scans, analyze results, and collaborate with various teams to ensure data protection and policy compliance. The analyst will consult on moderately complex initiatives, contribute to large-scale planning, and help resolve information security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and execute data scans as part of the Information Protection Scanning team.
- Analyze and validate scan results, collaborating with engineering teams to tune scanning tools.
- Work with data platform and application owners to validate and address scan results.
- Ensure timely disposition of scan results by following up with platform and application owners.
- Conduct governance routines, retrieve and validate data, and prepare reports on risk areas.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows for data ingestion, processing, and reporting.
- Capture requirements for system modifications and support inquiries through email and Jira.
- Use approved AI tools for research, summarization, analysis, and decision support in alignment with company policies.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education. Experience must include 2+ years in a governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) role and 2+ years of data security and scanning expertise, preferably in a large financial services environment.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data discovery and classification tools (e.g., Securiti.ai), data analysis and validation, and GRC principles. Proficiency with workflow and automation tools (e.g., Jira, Power BI, Tableau) and knowledge of data processing and ETL concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-based classification and document scanning tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
- Skills in data automation, ETL processes, and data visualization.
- Strong documentation skills, including process flows and design diagrams.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and influence across organizational levels.
- Demonstrated literacy in using AI tools ethically and responsibly.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated compensation for this position is $53.00 to $57.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
