A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Lead Software Engineer – AI & Workflow Platforms
Position type: Contract (12 months w/ extension)
Location: Iselin, NJ
Hybrid (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)
As a Lead Software Engineer – AI & Workflow Platforms, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of platform components.
- Review designs, code, integration patterns, and quality practices.
- Build scalable APIs, services, and workflow-driven solutions.
- Implement workflow orchestration and task-based processing models.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and architecture teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Uphold engineering discipline, architectural standards, and code quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience in backend engineering and distributed system design.
- Experience in Python, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Experience building agentic AI systems, with at least one production-grade project delivered.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- experience with MCP, Kafka/queueing systems, and workflow engines.
- Experience designing and deploying microservices architectures.
