Job Title: Oracle Cerner Delivery Manager
Location: Frisco, TX - Hybrid
Duration: Contract to Hire
The Oracle Cerner Delivery Manager is responsible for endtoend delivery, governance, and operational excellence of Oracle Cerner Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) services for large healthcare provider organizations. The role ensures high availability of clinical and revenue cycle systems, compliance with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and continuous service improvement while managing multilocation, multivendor healthcare environments.
This role is clientfacing and requires strong leadership across delivery, operations, financials, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery & Operations
- Own endtoend delivery of Oracle Cerner AMS services for Large Health Care provider.
- Must have experience of managing Oracle Cerner Delivery for Large and complex projects, Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs, KPIs, CSAT, and governance commitments.
- Drive incident, problem, change, and service request management aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Oversee P1/P2 incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions to ensure system stability.
- Manage hypercare, steadystate operations, and service transitions for new facilities or applications. Strong Team Management Skills.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the single point of accountability for healthcare client delivery.
- Lead operational reviews, service governance meetings, and executive SteerCos with client leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with CIO, CMIO, Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle, and IT leaders.
- Coordinate with Oracle, thirdparty vendors, and internal crosstower teams.
Team & Program Leadership
- Lead and mentor onshore, and nearshore Cerner delivery teams (L2/L3).
- Drive resource planning, skill readiness, succession planning, and retention.
- Ensure strong clinical domain awareness across teams (patient safety, care delivery impact).
- Foster a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own budget, cost optimization, revenue assurance, and margin management for the Cerner engagement.
- Track and control FTEs, productivity, utilization, and billing accuracy.
- Support contract renewals, change requests (CRs), and scope expansions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, tooling, and efficiency levers.
Compliance, Risk & Quality
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, SOX, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Manage audit readiness, security incidents, and risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to ITSM, governance, and healthcare data protection standards.
- Cerner Functional Scope
- Experience across one or more of the following Oracle Cerner domains:
- Clinical: Millennium, PowerChart, CPOE, Nursing, ED, Surgery, Anesthesia
- Revenue Cycle: Patient Accounting, Registration, Charge Services, HIM
- Ancillary: Pharmacy, Lab (PathNet), Radiology, PACS
- Integration & Reporting: Interfaces (FSI/HL7), CareAware, HealtheIntent, Reporting
