Description Our client is seeking an SEO Editor to support a large-scale content migration project, moving a substantial amount of content to a new, unified website. This is a remote, contract opportunity expected to last approximately 3-4 months (with possibility to extend up to 6 months), offering 35-40 hours per week.
Role Responsibilities:- Review and assess migrated content for SEO value and opportunities
- Edit and optimize articles, insights, blog posts, and updates to improve search performance
- Implement SEO best practices under the direction of a project lead
- Minimal copy revisions expected; focus on strategic SEO enhancements
- Work with content originally in Drupal CMS (future CMS TBD)
Requirements Desired Experience:- Strong editorial background with demonstrated SEO skills (someone who has worked with content moved between sites is a plus)
- Comfort quickly learning and applying GEO/SEO tactics-even if GEO is new to you
- Able to independently assess content and "hit the ground running"
- Experience with large-scale content migrations a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project direction
Additional Information:- Fully remote; open to candidates based anywhere in the US
- Editing skills are paramount; SEO knowledge required
- Editing assessment required as part of interview process
