As a Oracle Cloud ERP PPM/Projects Lead,you will lead the delivery of Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Cloud solutions, helping clients transform project financial management, delivery operations, and governance. You will partner with business stakeholders to define project-centric processes, design scalable solutions, and lead end-to-end implementations aligned to Oracle Cloud leading practices.

This role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle Project Financials and strong integration knowledge across Financials, Procurement, and other enterprise processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud PPM implementations, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Serve as the functional lead for PPM modules, providing subject matter expertise and solution leadership
  • Assess current-state project management and project accounting processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Define and document future-state processes across project planning, execution, costing, billing, and reporting
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs, configurations, and solution architecture decisions
  • Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive stakeholder alignment
  • Configure Oracle Cloud PPM modules, including:
    • Project Financial Management (Project Costing, Project Billing)
    • Project Accounting
    • Project Contracts
    • Project Control and Budgeting
  • Design and support key project-related business processes, including:
    • Project-to-Close (P2C)
    • Contract-to-Cash (C2C) for project-based billing
    • Integration with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Ensure seamless integration between PPM and Financials, including revenue recognition, cost collection, and accounting
  • Define project structures, costing models, billing methods, and revenue recognition rules
  • Support data migration activities, including project setup, open balances, and historical data conversion
  • Lead and support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), including defect resolution and validation of business scenarios
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the PPM workstream
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering team development and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting (OTBI/BI Publisher), and extensions
  • Support business development activities, including solutioning, demos, and proposal contributions
  • Contribute to the development of Peloton methodologies, accelerators, and PPM best practices

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 8-10+ years of experience delivering ERP solutions, with a focus on Oracle Projects / PPM
  • Minimum of 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud (Fusion) PPM implementations
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud PPM modules, including:
    • Project Costing
    • Project Billing
    • Project Accounting
    • Project Contracts
  • Strong understanding of project-driven business models (e.g., professional services, engineering & construction, IT services)
  • Deep knowledge of project financial processes, including:
    • Cost collection and allocation
    • Revenue recognition (percent complete, milestones, etc.)
    • Billing (time & materials, fixed price, contract-based)
  • Strong cross-functional knowledge and integration points with:
    • Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR)
    • Procurement and sourcing processes
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting roles, including remote delivery
  • Ability to work independently and lead workstreams within distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or Financials
  • Experience with advanced PPM capabilities such as project forecasting, planning, and resource management
  • Experience with integrations between PPM and third-party project management or time entry systems
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Exposure to multi-pillar Oracle Cloud implementations (ERP + EPM, SCM, or HCM)
  • Experience with data migration tools and strategies for project-based data

Compensation:

Peloton provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, business needs, and geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 to $225,000 (Base Compensation). Peloton also offers bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including:
