Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Livermore, California

Hybrid Schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote)

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: 12 mo. Contract

Pay Range: $35-40/hr.

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an Inventory Control Specialist. The position supports the use of Spares Parts for non-Bill of Material (BOM) intercompany transfers. This role collaborates with requestors and the planning team to manage inventory transfer requests for parts needed within lead time, supporting various material teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the usage of Spares Parts for non-BOM intercompany transfer activities.
  • Collaborate with requestors and the planning team to manage inventory transfer requests.
  • Oversee administrative tasks to properly route the flow of materials and parts between departments.
  • Ensure material flow meets scheduled commitments.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for spare parts activities.
  • Maintain files, application access, data records, and other documentation related to spare materials.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
  • Experience with Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Familiarity with SAP for order execution and supply vs. demand analysis.
  • Experience in ERP and ordering platforms; SAP and QuickBase are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Work Environment

This position requires a hybrid work schedule. The candidate will be expected to be on-site two days per week. The work shift is from Tuesday to Saturday.
