RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager (Contract-to-Hire) in Lansing, MI.

Company Overview:
A technology-focused organization is seeking a Project Manager to support application development initiatives and cross-functional project delivery efforts. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the potential to transition into a full-time role after 6-12 months based on performance and business needs. The role works closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior project leadership to drive successful project execution within a structured delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage one or more small to medium-sized projects from initiation through delivery
* Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations aligned to business objectives
* Define project scope, technical requirements, and delivery strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
* Coordinate activities across Agile teams and business units to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
* Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies as needed
* Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and communication with stakeholders and leadership teams
* Support change management processes and maintain project documentation in accordance with organizational standards
* Partner with enterprise project management and operational teams to improve delivery processes and team performance
* Utilize Agile and project portfolio management tools to track project progress, productivity, and delivery metrics
* Provide guidance and support to junior project staff and contribute to collaborative project planning efforts
* Assist senior project managers with larger-scale application development initiatives as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within application development or technology environments
* Prior experience supporting software development, systems implementation, or technical support initiatives
* Working knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies
* Experience working in Agile delivery environments; SAFe experience preferred
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across technical and business audiences
* Experience using project portfolio management (PPM) and Agile tracking tools
* PMP, PMI-ACP, or other project management certifications preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
