Location: Charlotte, NC (330 S. Brevard Street)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Start Date: October 1, 20XX
Duration: 18-month contract with potential for extension or conversion
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve a highly regulated voice recording environment within a leading financial services organization. This role is responsible for engineering, maintaining, and modernizing critical voice recording platforms that capture and retain trader and business communications to meet regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.

You will play a key role in infrastructure modernization, platform migrations, cloud transformation initiatives, and ongoing operational support across a complex ecosystem of voice recording and trader communication technologies.
What You'll Do
  • Engineer, maintain, and support enterprise voice recording platforms and related infrastructure.
  • Lead platform lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and decommissioning.
  • Support modernization initiatives involving trader voice and regulatory recording technologies.
  • Participate in recording platform migrations, consolidations, and vendor transition projects.
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions supporting compliance recording requirements.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational stability.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives and deployment of solutions within virtualized and OpenShift-based environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and voice engineering teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
  • Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency planning efforts.
  • Manage engineering work through structured project and operational workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting voice recording platforms such as NICE Trader Recording (NTR) or Verba Financial Compliance (VFC).
  • Experience with recording technologies including Proteus, Continuity Replay, Vodafone, or similar compliance recording solutions.
  • Experience supporting platform migrations, consolidations, or modernization efforts.
  • Experience with on-premises to cloud infrastructure or application migrations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure including networking, compute, storage, and data center technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation, patch management, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles.
  • 2+ years of information security experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting trader voice or trading floor environments.
  • Background in financial services technology or regulated communications environments.
  • Experience with Verba Financial Compliance (VFC).
  • Experience with NICE Trader Recording (NTR).
  • Knowledge of IPC trader communication technologies and Cloud9 Symphony.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams compliance capture and recording solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with Unified Communications (UC), IP Telephony, and Voice-as-a-Service technologies.
  • Experience supporting voice archiving, transcription, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with data center migration projects.
