Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Manager, ERP Development to guide and support our ERP and EDI delivery functions as the organization evolves and scales. This role provides leadership for a multidisciplinary team that includes ERP developers, EDI specialists, and business analysts who collectively support and enhance an IBM i (AS/400) Mincron ERP ecosystem.

Summary:
This position emphasizes leadership, execution, and operational discipline. The Manager is accountable for organizing the team's workload, setting clear priorities, ensuring delivery commitments are met, and maintaining a structured change management process. Success in this role depends on the ability to foster accountability, remove obstacles, and keep work moving efficiently from intake through completion. While direct coding responsibilities are not required, the role calls for enough technical fluency to lead a highly skilled development team and to effectively support EDI operations.

The Manager partners closely with the ERP Modernization Architect, who defines the future-state architecture and long-term modernization strategy in alignment with IT leadership. While the Architect drives technical vision, this role is responsible for translating that vision into executable plans and consistent team execution. A strong working relationship between these two leaders is essential to ensure progress without disruption. This position reports to the VP of IT.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated people leadership skills, including setting clear expectations, providing constructive and candid feedback, supporting professional growth, and reinforcing accountability in a way that strengthens trust and team culture
* Sufficient EDI functional expertise to effectively support and guide the EDI team, assess deliverables, and clearly communicate EDI priorities to business partners and leadership
* Practical understanding of IBM i change management practices, with the ability to consistently apply and enforce established controls and standards
* Strong planning and organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple initiatives, balancing competing demands, and delivering clear, timely status updates
* Proven ability to bridge technical and business perspectives, translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences and business needs for technical teams
* Highly collaborative approach to leadership, with the ability to work in close partnership with the ERP Modernization Architect and operate as a unified leadership team
* Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery models, including backlog prioritization and incremental delivery practices
* Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills appropriate for interaction across technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
