Job Overview

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft technology stack, particularly .NET Core, Azure Cloud, and enterprise application architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, guiding engineering teams, and driving scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core, C#, and Azure services.
• Design scalable, cloud-native, and microservices-based architectures.
• Ensure architectural compliance with security, performance, availability, and scalability standards.
• Lead application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Technical Leadership

• Act as a technical authority and mentor for development teams.
• Review and approve solution designs, code, and architectural decisions.
• Drive best practices across coding standards, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Azure & Cloud Responsibilities

• Architect solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts Azure API Management, Key Vault, Monitoring & Insights
• Define cloud security, cost optimization, resilience, and performance strategies.
• Implement DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.

Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement

• Participate in technical strategy, roadmap planning, and feasibility assessments.
• Support pre-sales activities, technical proposals, and solution estimations when required.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 14-16 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on background in: C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+ ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, RESTful services
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture and services.
• Expertise in Microservices, SOA, Event-driven architecture.
• Solid understanding of: Design patterns & architectural patterns Object-Oriented Design & SOLID principles Security best practices (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Identity Management)
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
• Database experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.
• Azure certifications such as: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure Developer Associate (preferred but not mandatory).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience in leading large, distributed teams.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with strategic architectural thinking.

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range:

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
