What you'll do
  • Lead application development for ink products, including but not limited to conductive, resistive, and dieletric inks
  • Design and implement proper testing methods to effectively screen products to better predict fitness to customer applications
  • Plan and execute lab evaluations. Comply with all onsite safety protocols and procedures
  • Generate and present technical report to internal team/stakeholders and external customers
  • Act as the interface between customer and internal team in capturing and translating customers' needs for new applications and products
  • Responsible (lead or participate) for customer engagement activities such as ink product recommendation, new product/application implementation, trouble shooting, and customer training
  • Collaborate with global cross functional team to execute projects within targeted timeline. Function as direct responsible individual for assigned projects and drive to completion
  • Travel to customer sites (domestic or international) on needed base (25-30%)
  • When not traveling, this role will be onsite, 5 days a week in our Irvine, CA location
What makes you a good fit
  • A bachelor/master's degree in engineering or material science with minimal 5 years of working experience or a doctor's degree with minimal 3 years of working experience in R&D or application engineering field
  • Deep knowledge in printed electronics (ink formulation & characterization, application processes, or module/device level electrical testing etc.) is required
  • Direct customer interfacing experience is required
  • Previous working experience in consumer electronics is desirable
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis is desirable

The salary range for this role is $85,000.00 and $130,000.00. This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
