Project Overview
This project supports the migration, modernization, and upgrading of critical Human Resources, financial, and administrative systems to agency-standard platforms. The System Software Programmer will design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable applications using the Angular framework, support backend integrations, and apply DevOps practices to enable secure, reliable, and streamlined software delivery.
The resource will collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, infrastructure, and other technical teams to translate business and technical requirements into effective system solutions. Responsibilities include developing application components, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, conducting code reviews and system testing, supporting system upgrades, modernizing legacy applications, and maintaining accurate technical documentation.
The role will ensure that system architectures, codebases, applications, and deployment pipelines follow industry best practices, agency IT security standards, and applicable federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, team-oriented, able to work with limited supervision, and responsive to priority assignments while supporting the reliability, continuity, performance, and long-term sustainability of critical enterprise systems.
