Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Grants Business Analyst to join a large, complex higher education institution on a full-time basis. This techno-functional role serves as a key liaison between Grants Research, Student Finance, and Financial business users, IT teams, and Oracle Support. The analyst ensures Oracle Cloud PPM and AR solutions are configured, maintained, and aligned with research policies, compliance standards, and operational goals.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud PPM, with a strong focus on the Grants module, combined with solid knowledge of Receivables and finance operations within a university environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional expert for Oracle Cloud PPM, Grants, and AR modules, supporting configuration, data integrity, testing, and ongoing maintenance
- Partner with Grants Research, Student Finance, and Financials business users to analyze processes, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, IT technical teams, and Oracle Support to resolve issues, manage enhancements, and drive system improvements
- Design, configure, and test Oracle Cloud PPM and AR solutions that support efficient, compliant, and scalable business operations
- Support regression testing, data validation, and issue triage across core ERP functions
- Develop and maintain reports and extracts using OTBI, BI Publisher, BI Cloud Connect, and PPM Extracts and Integration
- Ensure solutions comply with institutional research policies, regulatory requirements, and financial standards
- Support integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and boundary systems
- Participate in onsite collaboration with campus stakeholders as needed, typically 1 to 3 days per month
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of hands-on Oracle Cloud ERP experience with demonstrated expertise in PPM, Grants, and AR modules in a higher education environment
- Demonstrated experience as a senior resource in defining systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be process design, conference room pilots, functional configuration, testing, and end-user training
