Your skills
  • 18 months of IT experience (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to commute long distances between customer sites and must have a valid driver's license.
  • Experience in technical support or a similar role, with experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Available to work a rotational 24/7 on call; scheduled shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • This role is an Hourly Non-Exempt position with a targeted salary range of $20 - $24 USD, based on experience and skillsets.
  • Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant identification at the time of hire as required for federal customer site access.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA on a permanent, unrestricted basis. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including student or temporary work authorization programs.

Your tasks

Hemmersbach is seeking a customer-focused Field Technician to deliver onsite and remote IT support for enterprise and consumer clients. The role includes installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining PCs, printers, servers, and data center equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with hardware support, networking, and HP server environments, and provides high-quality customer service while representing the company at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for PCs, printers, servers, and data center equipment
  • Communicate professionally with clients and ensure satisfaction
  • Install, upgrade, and repair IT hardware and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with dispatch, engineers, and project teams
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support HP servers and enterprise environments
  • Track inventory and provide service updates
