Reliability Engineer | Wayland, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wayland that are seeking skilled Reliability Engineers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
  • Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) programs and schedules.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on equipment design and upgrades.
  • Implement and manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data for reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for asset reliability and uptime.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with FMEA, RCA, and other reliability tools.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including statistical process control (SPC) and predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor and train maintenance personnel on reliability best practices.
