Review and analyze codes, fixes, jobs, requirements, scalable technical solutions, impact, sprints, tasks, data integrity, performance, optimization, modernization initiatives, distributed systems, effort estimates, production support and issues, batch failures, abends, compliance, regulations, data structures, indexing, record layouts, root cause, runtime errors, acceptance criteria, user stories, security, logging, auditing. Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and unit, integration, and regression testing. Confer with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Maintain program specifications, technical design documents, process flows, operational guidelines, data flow and architecture diagrams, file layouts. Analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience developing financial, and enterprise systems, pipelines, code; reviewing codes, requirements, sprints, effort estimates, compliance, root cause, acceptance criteria, user stories; performing unit testing; conferring with stakeholders; maintaining technical design documents; using COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Agile, CI/CD, DB2, Easytrieve, REXX, DFSORT, Syncsort, Python, File-Aid, File Manager, SPUFI, Fault Analyzer, SAR view, ESP, UAC Scheduler, SQL, IBM IDz, Apigee, Z/OS Connect, Splunk, GitHub, Service Now. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150/yr.
