Description Marketing Specialist with 3+ years of relevant B2B professional services experience needed for a full-time, hybrid (3/2) position in Boston of Hartford. Preferred experience in the AEC industry. Will be working on RFPs/RFQs, marketing materials to support the business development process, assist with events, and manage the CRM system. Salary is 75-80K with some flex to 85K depending on qualifications.
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Marketing Specialist to support marketing, business development, and firm visibility efforts. This role will help drive pursuit strategy, coordinate proposals and interview materials, maintain CRM data, and support broader marketing initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support marketing and business development activities, including proposals, presentations, and firm collateral
- Coordinate and help develop RFQ/RFP responses, interview decks, and pursuit materials
- Schedule and facilitate Go/No-Go meetings and support opportunity tracking
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and potential opportunities
- Maintain and update CRM records, contacts, opportunities, and marketing content
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to ensure high-quality, targeted submissions
- Support business development processes, event coordination, and conference visibility
- Assist with website, social media, and other communications projects as needed
Requirements Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the AEC or professional services industry
- Experience supporting proposals, business development, and client-facing marketing materials
- Strong writing, editing, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in InDesign, Deltek Vantagepoint, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred- Background or interest in architecture, engineering, or construction
- Experience in a professional services environment
