Technical Product Owner (Data & Payments)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Product Owner, Data & Payments in Fort Lauderdale, FL to lead the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise data products while supporting key payments technology initiatives.

Summary:
This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, architecture, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver business-driven outcomes through modern data platforms and payment solutions. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on enterprise data products and data warehouse modernization, with the remaining 25% dedicated to payments platform initiatives.

Responsibilities:
* Own and prioritize enterprise data product backlogs based on business value, technical dependencies, and strategic objectives
* Develop and maintain a unified roadmap for enterprise data products and modernization initiatives
* Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, business outcomes, and product priorities
* Create and manage epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
* Coordinate work across data engineering, architecture, analytics, operational, and application teams
* Drive delivery and adoption of data models, integrations, semantic layers, pipelines, and reporting capabilities
* Support data warehouse modernization efforts through roadmap development and stakeholder alignment
* Promote data governance practices, including data quality, security, access controls, and compliance
* Manage and prioritize a secondary payments technology backlog
Support initiatives involving payment resiliency, tokenization, fraud prevention, revenue protection, and platform modernization
Communicate product strategy, risks, priorities, dependencies, and outcomes to technical teams and executive leadership
Lead through influence and maintain alignment across multiple delivery teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, platform, or modernization initiatives
* Experience owning and prioritizing enterprise data or platform roadmaps
* Experience supporting BI and analytics environments using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
* Strong Agile and Scrum experience
* Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable backlog management tools
* Strong understanding of: Enterprise data warehousing; ETL/ELT processes; Data modeling; Data governance; System integrations and data flows
* Working knowledge of Snowflake
* SQL proficiency for data validation and collaboration with engineering teams
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
* Ability to translate business needs into measurable outcomes and technical requirements

Preferred Skills:
* CSPO, PSPO, or similar Product Owner certification
* Experience with Snowflake capabilities such as RBAC, virtual warehouses, data sharing, and Cortex
* Experience with Oracle, Informatica, AWS, Salesforce, or Adobe ecosystems
* Product ownership experience supporting financial systems or payment platforms
* Experience in hospitality, travel, reservation, revenue management, or related industries
* Knowledge of payment processing, acquiring, tokenization, payment orchestration, fraud prevention, and revenue protection
* Familiarity with accounting systems, financial reporting, and SOX-controlled environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
