Business Systems Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cornelius, NC that is seeking an experienced Business Systems Architect to own and manage strategic relationships with external technology vendors and agencies. This role is responsible for vendor performance, delivery, communication, and alignment with business objectives across the organization's technology landscape.

Summary:
The Business Systems Architect serves as the relationship and architectural owner for key enterprise platforms spanning ERP/HRIS, CRM, eCommerce, data integration, workflow tools, and AI initiatives. This position is not a hands-on development role, but instead focuses on driving clarity, accountability, and predictable delivery across vendor-led initiatives in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Owning vendor relationships and acting as the primary point of contact across assigned platforms
* Overseeing enterprise applications including NetSuite, ADP, Shopify, Celigo, Zapier, FranConnect, Zendesk, HubSpot, and AI solutions
* Leading vendor delivery, escalations, and roadmap alignment to business priorities
* Partnering with Technology, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to gather requirements, align timelines, and reduce internal friction
* Establishing vendor governance, operating rhythms, intake, prioritization, and status communication
* Maintaining clear documentation for vendor ownership, scope, and delivery expectations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, Project Management, Technology, or a related field - or equivalent experience
* Proven experience managing technology vendors, agencies, or system integrators
* Experience working with enterprise platforms such as HRIS, ERP, eCommerce, CRM, or MarTech systems (e.g. ADP, NetSuite, Shopify, HubSpot, etc.)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into deliverables and solutions
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure in evolving environments
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
* Prior experience in the fitness or wellness industry is a plus but not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
