Job Overview

We are seeking a Remote ETL Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in enterprise ETL development and data integration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Python, and modern data warehousing concepts.

This role supports enterprise data modernization and migration initiatives in a collaborative remote environment.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

· Extract and integrate data from multiple heterogeneous data sources including:

o Flat Files

o DB2

o PostgreSQL

· Develop reusable transformations, workflows, worklets, and mapplets

· Support ETL version control and deployment processes

· Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate ETL mapping development

· Troubleshoot ETL failures and optimize performance

· Support enterprise data conversion and migration initiatives

· Collaborate with remote technical and business teams

Required Qualifications

· 5–7 years of ETL development experience

· Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

· Strong SQL and Python development skills

· Experience with enterprise data warehousing environments

· Understanding of:

o EDW

o ODS

o MOLAP

o ROLAP

o Data Marts

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Excellent communication in remote work environments

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

· Data migration or conversion project experience

· Experience working in Agile teams

· Experience with AI-assisted development tools

Nice to Have

· Government or healthcare project experience

· Network security exposure

· Technical training or mentoring experience

Salary 60-70 per hour
