Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior ETL Engineer with 8–10 years of experience leading enterprise ETL and data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL architecture, enterprise data warehousing, and cloud-based data modernization.

This is a fully remote role supporting large-scale enterprise data transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

· Lead the design and development of enterprise ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF)

· Develop and optimize complex ETL mappings and workflows

· Integrate and transform data from:

o Flat Files

o DB2

o PostgreSQL

o Enterprise relational databases

· Build reusable ETL frameworks and components

· Implement ETL versioning and deployment best practices

· Utilize AI-assisted ETL mapping and automation tools

· Lead ETL performance tuning and optimization efforts

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ETL developers

· Collaborate with distributed remote teams and stakeholders

· Support enterprise data migration and modernization projects

Required Qualifications

· 8–10 years of ETL development experience

· Advanced expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF)

· Strong SQL and Python programming skills

· Deep understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture:

o EDW

o ODS

o MOLAP

o ROLAP

o Data Marts

· Proven experience with ETL optimization and troubleshooting

· Experience leading enterprise data conversion initiatives

· Strong communication and leadership skills in remote environments

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· Experience in federal, healthcare, or enterprise environments

· Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for ETL deployments

· Agile/Scrum experience

Nice to Have

· AI-assisted development experience

· Network security experience

· Technical documentation or training background
