Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Security Engineer specializing in Zscaler to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in enhancing and maintaining cybersecurity measures across the organization. You will work with advanced technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security protocols are in place.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to safeguard organizational assets.
Monitor and maintain firewall technologies, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security standards.
Collaborate with teams to configure and manage Cisco ASA security appliances.
Conduct regular assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend effective solutions.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
Perform system configuration management to ensure all security measures align with business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cybersecurity issues in a timely manner.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance system defenses.
Provide guidance and training to team members on cybersecurity protocols and tools.
Create detailed documentation for security configurations and incident responses.
Requirements
Proven expertise in cybersecurity, including hands-on experience with Zscaler solutions.
Strong knowledge of Checkpoint and firewall technologies.
Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco ASA security systems.
Solid understanding of configuration management principles.
Ability to analyze and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on cybersecurity.
Familiarity with the latest developments in cybersecurity tools and practices.
Strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
