Job Description:
Agile Scrum Master

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Scrum Master to lead one or more Scrum teams. This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing team dependencies, and providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress. The position involves acting as a servant leader, helping to resolve impediments, and enabling continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a servant leader to the teams and help resolve impediments.
  • Coach the team to achieve sprint goals and timelines, ensuring adherence to the 'Definition of Ready' and 'Definition of Done'.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and coach agile routines and ceremonies, including Sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and PI planning.
  • In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team, including pre-planning preparation and PI planning events, and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums.
  • Enable the team to become high-performing through collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement, including working with other scrum teams to define best practices.
  • Drive the agile team maturity based on organizational guidelines.
  • Provide delivery management and oversight for key project deliverables.
  • Utilize business analyst experience to understand business needs and analyze solutions by building relationships with business partners.
  • Develop an understanding of the Treasury space and the supported application.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience as an Agile Scrum Master.
  • Proficiency with Jira.
  • Prior experience driving technology projects in Capital Markets.
  • Capital Markets product knowledge in Fixed Income or Derivatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scrum master or PMP certification.
  • Experience with Quartz or other trading applications.
  • Competency in Python or SQL scripting.
