Project Manager (Contract | Remote/Hybrid)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior
Technical Project Manager to support a high-performing
Shared Business Platforms / Technology Platforms team. This is a
long-term contract opportunity focused on driving delivery across
small-to-mid-sized, high-impact technical initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
This role is highly technical and will partner closely with engineering teams to lead execution, improve governance, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution- Lead 1-2 concurrent workstreams, primarily focused on small-to-medium initiatives with enterprise impact
- Drive project delivery with a strong focus on timelines, quality, and outcomes
- Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and documentation
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment
Technical Program Support- Partner closely with engineering teams supporting:
- Platform services
- Cloud and infrastructure initiatives
- API enablement and related services
- Contribute to domain blueprint development for core technology areas (significant portion of initial work)
- Support and reinforce API governance and platform standards
Agile & Process Leadership- Operate within an Agile environment, helping to guide teams and improve delivery practices
- Utilize tools such as Jira to track work, manage boards, and maintain visibility
- Facilitate meetings, drive decisions, and remove blockers
Stakeholder Collaboration- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders
- Lead discussions, align priorities, and keep teams focused on business outcomes
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in technical environments
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand and discuss:
- APIs and API governance
- Backend systems
- Platform architecture
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum experience strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience using Jira or similar project management tools
- Proven track record of delivering technical projects successfully
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications- Background in software engineering or technical roles prior to moving into project management
- Experience with:
- Message-driven or event-based architectures
- Cloud platforms and infrastructure services
- Exposure to enterprise-scale technical environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
