Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a collaborative team in Atlanta, Georgia, where data is used to guide business strategy and operational decisions. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex information into clear reporting and practical recommendations. The person in this role will partner with stakeholders across the business to uncover patterns, improve data quality, and deliver meaningful insights through analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities:

Create interactive dashboards and recurring reports that help teams monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Examine large and varied datasets to uncover trends, exceptions, and actionable business insights.

Develop and run database queries to extract, organize, and interpret information from multiple sources.

Review, reconcile, and validate data to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting outputs.

Communicate findings to business partners and leadership through clear presentations, summaries, and visual storytelling.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to support informed decision-making with timely analytical input.

Apply analytical techniques to fraud-related data to help detect suspicious activity and strengthen anti-fraud efforts.

Requirements

Experience performing data analysis and translating findings into clear business recommendations.
Proficiency with a reporting or visualization platform such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
Ability to write and troubleshoot database queries for data extraction and reporting.
Knowledge of data validation practices and core analytical methods.
Familiarity with fraud analytics, fraud investigation, or anti-fraud environments is strongly preferred.
Exposure to Python or R is a plus.
Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders in a detail-oriented enterprise setting.
