Job DetailsThis is a full-time, remote position supporting both software development and customer-facing technical support efforts. You will help modernize a legacy business accounting system while also assisting customers with technical and ERP-related issues. Working hours are 8am to 5pm Eastern Time, with minimal US travel required to visit customers and prospects.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Help modernize a legacy ERP/accounting platform into a graphical web-based interface
- Develop using Java or C# plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Provide customer support via phone and email for software and technical issues
- Troubleshoot ERP/accounting workflows and document new and existing components
- Use git and Visual Studio Code to manage development work
- Travel occasionally within the US as needed
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related experience preferred
- Background in Java or C# and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with git and Visual Studio Code
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- ERP, accounting software, Linux, AWS, or BBj/BBx exposure is a plus
- Knowledge of business accounting functions is a plus
