Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeling to lead the design and management of enterprise data models that support analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
The role involves working closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable, and well-governed data structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
- Lead data modeling efforts for data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical systems.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
- Establish and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance policies.
- Review and optimize database schemas, ETL pipelines, and data structures for performance and scalability.
- Manage and mentor a small team of data modelers or analysts.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across systems.
- Support integration of data from multiple sources including internal systems and third-party platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and normalization techniques.
- Experience with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse).Strong SQL and database design skills.
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Good stakeholder communication and team leadership skills.
