Quality Engineer 1

Note: Experience with Swift Programming language required
Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience performing manual and/or automated software testing
• Experience testing on mobile platforms (iOS required; Android is a plus)
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages Swift Required (bonus: Python, Java, C/C++, JS/TS )
• Experience using Xcode when working with iOS applications
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and debugging practices
• Ability to test across multiple platforms such as mobile, web, AR/VR, or connected devices

Top Skills and Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering
• Experience with mobile test automation tools such as XCTest, XCUITest, Appium, or similar
• Ability to build, maintain, and execute automated test suites
• Experience testing APIs, SDKs, and multi-platform integrations
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing logs, investigating failures, and identifying patterns

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing applications in AR/VR, wearables, TV, or other emerging platforms
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ALM, or Jenkins
• Experience with device setup, configuration, and command-line scripts
• Exposure to CI/CD automation pipelines

Responsibilities

• Edit, Improve and maintain automated test scripts for software applications across platforms
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests on iOS, Android, web, and emerging platforms
• Collaborate with development and product teams to support high-quality releases
• Perform SDK and API testing to validate application integrations
• Participate in CI/CD workflows and contribute to automation improvements
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and document bugs clearly for resolution
• Verify fixes and ensure defects are fully resolved

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
