Description
We are looking for an experienced Web & UX Manager to oversee website content and user experience strategies for a long-term contract position. This role involves managing web content, ensuring quality control, and guiding the team in creating engaging and accessible digital experiences. The position is fully remote and offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern web tools and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise web content management activities, ensuring updates are accurate and meet quality standards.
Review and approve website content submitted by content managers, making necessary edits to align with organizational guidelines.
Lead the team in implementing user-centric design principles to enhance website usability and engagement.
Ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards and other relevant regulations.
Collaborate with senior UX designers to refine and improve the user experience across all digital platforms.
Utilize tools like Figma and Adobe XD for wireframing and prototyping.
Manage CMS platforms, including WordPress, to optimize website functionality and performance.
Monitor and address technical aspects such as HTML and JavaScript frameworks.
Provide guidance on modern web practices to align with organizational goals.
Support the team in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality web solutions.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/UI design and web content management.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
Strong knowledge of CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility standards.
Experience with wireframing and prototyping for digital interfaces.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide a team effectively.
