Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Owner to take full ownership of the Elemental App in San Marcos, Texas. This role requires a balance of user-centered design expertise and strategic product management, ensuring that user needs are translated into seamless and intuitive design solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, leveraging user feedback and operational requirements to deliver impactful designs that drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of the Elemental App, managing the process from initial concept to final delivery.
Conduct thorough user research, including interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions to understand user needs.
Create detailed user personas, workflows, and journey maps based on operational use cases.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma to communicate design ideas effectively.
Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across the app.
Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless design implementation and resolve technical constraints.
Align designs with Elemental brand standards while prioritizing usability and user experience.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and evolving business requirements.
Document design decisions, patterns, and rationale to maintain transparency and clarity for internal teams.
Work closely with marketing teams to ensure alignment between product designs and brand messaging.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, UX/UI design, or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in designing SaaS platforms, dashboards, or apps, with a strong portfolio showcasing real-world projects.
Proven ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
Proficiency in Figma, with a solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and responsive design principles.
Strong skills in creating user personas, workflows, and intuitive interfaces.
Experience collaborating with developers to address technical constraints and ensure accurate implementation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to clearly explain and advocate for design decisions.
