DescriptionJob SummaryThe Entry-Level Associate ITAM Depot & Logistics Technician supports the inventory management, maintenance, repair, storage, delivery, and tracking of IT endpoint devices such as laptops, desktops, thin clients, tablets, mobile phones, and related peripherals. This role includes performing basic hardware troubleshooting and repairs, assisting with warranty coordination, and supporting the imaging and configuration of new or refurbished devices in a centralized deployment environment while following established procedures and standards.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions- Receive, inspect, and document incoming and outgoing IT endpoint devices and peripherals, following defined guidelines. Support the movement, storage, and preparation of equipment, including pallet handling.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records for devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, thin clients, and peripherals using hardware asset management tools.
- Assist with routine inventory audits to identify discrepancies, damages, or missing items and help reconcile findings.
- Participate in discussions or meetings related to hardware deployments, storage needs, and equipment logistics.
- Support the implementation of asset management workflows and tools to enhance tracking and reporting accuracy. Escalate issues and recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Follow established IT policies related to inventory management, asset tagging, security practices, and equipment disposal.
- Perform basic endpoint hardware repairs, such as replacing batteries, keyboards, screens, or drives. Assist with coordinating warranty service, repairs, or replacements through vendors or service providers.
- Support device preparation tasks, including unboxing, asset tagging, imaging, configuration, and re-boxing of new or refurbished equipment. Record asset details (such as serial numbers) for import into inventory or directory systems.
- Assist with connecting devices to networks and KVM equipment to support imaging and configuration. Establish basic network connectivity and troubleshoot simple setup issues.
- Support software installations and ensure imaged devices meet established security and compliance standards.
- Assist with mass-configuration efforts, preparing multiple devices simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and adherence to documented procedures.
- Provide timely status updates on imaging and configuration assignments and report any deviations from standard processes.
- Support warehouse and depot functions, including inventory control and preparing equipment for shipment to additional locations.
- Serve as part of the delivery team, which may include operating company-approved vehicles when needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
