Description
We are looking for an ERP/CRM Consultant to support business systems initiatives in Caldwell, New Jersey through a Long-term Contract engagement. This role focuses on translating operational needs into effective platform solutions, improving system functionality, and delivering reliable technical enhancements. The ideal candidate combines strong consulting skills with hands-on development experience to help shape scalable CRM and ERP outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Gather stakeholder needs and convert them into clear business requirement documents that guide solution design and delivery.
Build and enhance platform functionality using client-side scripting and Salesforce development best practices.
Configure system features and maintain application settings to support business processes and user adoption.
Develop and support API-based integrations that connect CRM or ERP platforms with related business applications.
Partner with business and technical teams to evaluate requirements, recommend solutions, and align deliverables with project goals.
Perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and refine system behavior to improve performance and reliability.
Document configurations, technical decisions, and implementation details to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
Contribute to configuration management activities to help control changes and maintain system integrity across environments.
Requirements
Hands-on experience working as an ERP/CRM Consultant in business-facing technical environments.
Strong ability to create and manage business requirement documents with clear, actionable detail.
Proficiency in client-side scripting for customizing and extending platform functionality.
Experience with configuration management practices across development, testing, and production environments.
Working knowledge of API development and system integration concepts.
Practical Salesforce development experience, including customization and enhancement of platform capabilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, translate business needs, and support solution delivery.
