Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure network infrastructures supporting EMS platforms.
Ensure high availability and low-latency communication for real-time grid operations and control systems.
Develop and implement network segmentation strategies between IT and OT environments.
Support EMS applications including SCADA, telemetry systems, and control center operations.
Configure and manage routing, switching, firewalls, and secure communication protocols.
Implement cybersecurity controls aligned with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or failures.
Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
Collaborate with EMS vendors, system operators and engineering teams for seamless integration.
Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configurations, and security policies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network architecture, preferably in utility or energy sectors.
Strong knowledge of EMS and related systems (SCADA, DMS, grid control platforms).
Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, BGP, OSPF).
Experience with industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus).
Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security solutions.
Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence and industrial control systems (ICS).
