Blu Omega is looking for a Marketplace IT Project Manager to lead our team in designing innovative solutions and improving processes to ensure our clients’ success.
As a Marketplace IT Project Manager, you will plan, organize, and implement technical projects that align with the strategic goals of the agent and broker initiative. Your ability to engage with stakeholders will be crucial in gathering the necessary information to drive strategic initiatives. You will develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and establish timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Managing project risks and conducting regular assessments, you will ensure that potential issues are identified and mitigated early. Using project management tools, you will track project performance and schedule adherence, presenting progress reports and results to stakeholders. Your role will involve coordinating production releases and roll-outs, delegating tasks to team members, and ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards in deployed solutions. You will also maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all processes and changes are well-documented and communicated effectively.
Your expertise will be crucial in navigating and responding to business needs while ensuring successful delivery of your client’s strategic objectives and missions. You will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that drive your client’s success. That’s why we need you, an experienced Marketplace IT Project Manager who knows how to oversee technical projects and ensure they align with strategic goals. You will identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, develop actionable plans, and draft solution proposals. Understanding the overall direction and nuanced user needs, you will guide your team in creating effective solutions. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure successful progress for deliverables and daily support activities, manage risk, and provide business solutions and recommendations for improvement.
Here, you’ll have the chance to lead a team that includes subject matter experts in IT, process improvement, communications, and business analysis, all working together to support your client’s most critical missions. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the team towards achieving strategic goals. You will impact the client organization by contributing to program strategy, defining business requirements, and helping to eliminate risks across projects.
This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., including the District of Columbia.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
Nice to Have:
- PMP Certification
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification
- Familiarity with the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and health insurance industry.
- Experience working on initiatives aimed at improving consumer and agent/broker experiences.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to health insurance.
- Experience with technical project deliveries.
Clearance:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Salary Range: $100K- $115K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
