nTech Workforce has an immediate 23313 Business Development Specialist (Digital Partnership)

Terms of Employment:

  • W2 Contract, 12 months
  • Location: Hybrid once per week on-site in the downtown Houston office.

Overview:

  • Work with a leading firm in the energy industry as a Business Development Specialist within the Digital Partnership Strategy team. This role is the operational engine of the partnership team, responsible for ensuring third-party brokers are integrated effectively via API and that all enrollment, reporting, and contract tracking processes are streamlined and automated. You will act as the vital link between sales partners and technical IT teams to drive digital growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support API integrations with third-party brokers to automate the enrollment process.
  • Coordinate with internal IT developers and partner IT teams to secure API credentials and perform end-to-end integration validation.
  • Conduct regression testing and QA to ensure enrollment data is submitted correctly and without discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain API-related dashboards in Power BI to automate reporting and tracking.
  • Oversee data validation for broker commission payments, moving processes from manual to automated where possible.
  • Handle the "intake" for legal and regulatory items, including tracking contract redlines and compensation schedules.
  • Manage customer and utility-level complaints by coordinating resolutions between brokers and internal teams.
  • Act as a Project Manager for new program launches, ensuring strict adherence to timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or related discipline
  • 3+years in support role or similar
  • 2+ years working directly with AI, machine learning, data-driven products to automate key processes
  • Ability to standardize and automate repeatable work to scale capacity
  • Familiarity with APIs/integration monitoring concepts and issue triage workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience with API integrations and the ability to navigate technical conversations with IT organizations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and automated reporting.
  • Strong background in process optimization or business automation (moving manual tasks to automated workflows).
  • Experience in a hybrid role combining data analysis with project management.
  • Ability to handle complex coordination between Sales, IT, Legal, and Regulatory departments.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools, specifically Microsoft Copilot, to streamline internal workflows.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and managing broker functionality within those systems.
  • Prior experience in the energy sector or with digital comparison platforms (e.g., broker/partnership models).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML foundations.
  • Experience with KPI and value-tracking dashboards.
  • Experience with automating and supporting data reconciliation, exception reporting, commissions/billing support or operational audit processes.
  • Experience supporting partner ecosystems, market places, or third-party integrations.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms/tools.
  • Proficiency in artificial intelligence, data literacy, changes programs.
  • Professional Certifications not all required but will be considered favorably.
