Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD/LE AMS Consultant with 11 to 15 years of strong expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (ECC) to lead and manage SAP SD operations. The role focuses on ensuring stable and efficient Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, application reliability, and high-quality AMS delivery in an onsite client environment.
Job Description
Lead end-to-end SAP SD/LE (ECC) module activities including configuration, production support, and functional enhancements.
Own and manage Order-to-Cash processes including sales order processing, pricing, shipping (LE), billing, returns, and customer master data management.
Oversee and manage integration points with SAP MM, FI/CO, WM, and PP modules.
Ensure adherence to audit, compliance, data governance, and data consistency standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including ABAP, Basis, middleware teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Monitor and support batch jobs, IDoc processing, output determination, EDI, and interface integrations.
Prepare functional specifications, validate technical designs, and coordinate custom developments with technical teams.
Support UAT, integration testing, cutover activities, system deployments, and upgrades.
Maintain and update documentation including configuration documents, SOPs, KT materials, and run books.
Use ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy for incident, problem, and change management activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify recurring issues, and recommend preventive and optimisation solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide L1 to L3 application support for SAP SD/LE (ECC), ensuring issues are resolved within defined SLA timelines.
Execute functional configuration changes, minor enhancements, and change requests aligned with business needs.
Guide and support end users on SAP SD/LE transactions, processes, and functional queries; conduct user training as required.
Categorise, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests; escalate unresolved issues and provide clear status communication to stakeholders.
Lead AMS delivery and support multi-client environments while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Act as a bridge between business users, support teams, and technical teams to analyse and resolve complex functional issues.
Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
Mentor junior consultants and independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
Maintain strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership throughout the AMS lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, AMS governance frameworks, and organisational best practices.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SD and LE (ECC)
Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash and Logistics Execution processes
Experience in AMS delivery models and ITIL-based support
Knowledge of integrations, IDocs, EDI, and cross-module flows
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work onsite with client stakeholders
