Job Title: SAP S/4 Service Management Consultant

Role Overview
The SAP Service Management Consultant is responsible for supporting and transforming the SAP Customer Service (CS) / Service Management processes during the Brownfield migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA. The role includes analyzing existing service processes, identifying simplifications in S/4HANA, ensuring compatibility, and supporting system conversion activities.
Key Responsibilities
• ECC to S/4HANA Conversion Support
• Service Management Process Expertise - Configure and support - Service Orders, Service Notifications, Service Contracts, Warranty Management, Installed Base / Equipment, Service Billing, Resource Planning, Repair Processing
• Business Process Analysis
◦ Analyze current ECC service management business processes.
◦ Identify S/4HANA simplifications and changes.
◦ Recommend process improvements or redesign.
◦ Support Fit-Gap workshops with business stakeholders.
• Integration Responsibilities - Work with integrated modules and ensure service order flows continue working post migration.
◦ PM (Plant Maintenance)
◦ SD (Sales & Distribution)
◦ MM (Materials Management)
◦ FI/CO
◦ CRM / FSM (if integrated)
• Data Migration & Validation - Validate master data and transactional data such as: Equipment, Service contractions, notifications.
• Work with migration tools
• Conducting Testing Activities - Lead or support: Unit testing, Integration testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Regression testing, validating end-to-end service scenarios after conversion.
• Documentation - Create functional design documents: FS, FDD, Configuration documentation. Maintain Solution Manager / ChaRM documentation.
Required Skills:
• SAP Functional Skills
◦ Strong experience in SAP Customer Service (CS) / Service Management
◦ Knowledge of Service orders, Notifications, Installed base, Contracts, Repair processing
• S/4HANA Knowledge
◦ Understanding of S/4HANA simplification items
◦ Familiarity with SAP Readiness Check 2.0
◦ Experience with Maintenance Planner
• Experience Requirements
◦ 6–10 years SAP experience
◦ At least 1 SAP CS implementation
◦ Experience in S/4HANA conversion projects (Brownfield preferred)
◦ Exposure to integration with PM / SD / MM
